Young ace
Thirteen year-old John Townsend of River Falls shot a hole-in-one last Thursday at the County Air Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. Townsend, a 7th grader who plays on the Mounds Park Academy golf team in Maplewood, Minn., used a pitching wedge to ace his shot on the par-3, 17th hole. He is the son of Mike and Jenny Townsend on River Falls.
