Letter: Don’t miss it

Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend the musical performance of “Lazarus” at the United Methodist Church in River Falls.

What a superb performance was put on by children and adult members of our community in a quaint, cozy setting.

The musical deals with the issues of hunger and poverty amongst children and adults. Some proceeds go toward the backpack program to help feed youngsters and their families in the River Falls area.

If you haven’t seen the musical yet, it is well worth the $5 ticket and is still being performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6.

Tickets are sold at the church office, Dish and Spoon, and at the door.
