Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI) on Thursday, May 3, made the following statement in regards to the recent storms that caused significant damage in the town of Blair and resulted in the loss of Kind’s personal property.
“I’ve been focused on the Blair community today, working with the first responders and emergency personnel to assess the damage and help those in need.
“Unfortunately, we suffered some storm damage of our own today. Our family farm house was struck by lightning early this morning and burned to the ground. Thankfully, no one was at the house and no one was injured.”
Kind represents the River Falls area in Congress.
