River Falls six-day spring cleanup is coming

The annual time when city of River Falls residents can dispose of unwanted personal items and garbage is scheduled for May 14-19.
The service is provided for residents who are billed for city trash service with Veolia.
The cleanup site is at the Public Works Garage, 950 Benson St.
Hours will be 4-8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Things like carpeting, furniture, mattresses, box springs, miscellaneous garbage and minor household construction debris can be dropped off for free.
Some items to dispose will require a fee, such as: Tires, air conditions, computers, printers, microwave, TV, appliances, dehumidifiers.
Oil, paint, propane tanks, car batteries and harardous waste chemicals won't be accepted.
