Unity In The Community 2012 is tonight (Wednesday)

Billed as a celebration of diversity, the annual Unity in The Community will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Veteran Park in downtown River Falls.

Billed as a celebration of diversity, the annual Unity in The Community will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Veteran Park in downtown River Falls.

All events are free and open to the public.

Wanda Brown will emcee. UW-River Falls Chancellor Dean Van Galen and former River Falls Mayor Don Richard will give welcoming remarks.

River Falls Public Montessori School students will perform “The Lion and the Mouse.”

There will also be African drumming and performances by the UWRF Dance Theatre, Teens Underground, Kinni Song Sisters and the River Falls Community Gospel Choir.

In case of rain, Unity in the Community will move to the River Falls Public Library.
