On Saturday, volunteers coordinated by the Kinni River Land Trust (KRLT) converged on the Kinnickinnic River for a cleanup effort.
Prior to getting to the river, KRLT Executive Director, Dave Fodroczi and KRLT Land Project Manager, Eric Forward, spoke to the crowd at the Glen Park Shelter.
Groups were directed to different areas throughout the area, with some groups using kayaks and hip weighters to reach more treacherous areas.
Besides the usual garbage collected, a gas mask, tire and metal drum where found along the banks of the Kinnickinnic River.
