CITY OF RIVER FALLS, WISCONSIN

OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

JANITORIAL SERVICES

The City of River Falls, Wisconsin will accept sealed bids for Janitorial Services for various city buildings until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Council Chambers, at City Hall, 222 Lewis St., River Falls, WI. Mailed bids should be sent to: City Clerk, 222 Lewis St., River Falls, WI 54022. The envelope in which the proposals are sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation: "JANITORIAL SERVICES PROPOSAL”. Services will be provided at the following locations in the City of River Falls:

* City Hall, 222 Lewis St.

* Public Safety Building, 125 E. Elm St. / 115 N. Second St.

* Public Library, 140 Union St.

* Public Works Facility, 950 Benson St.

There will be a pre-bid walk through on Thursday April 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm, beginning in the City Hall Training Room, located on the lower level of the building.

No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of River Falls, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of the Contract within ten (10) days after the award of said Contract.

The City of River Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City of River Falls.
