It's official, at least for now, River Falls has a new mayor
River Falls City Clerk Lu Ann Hecht announced the election totals were certified the morning of Monday, April 9, -- Don Richards 925 and Dan Toland 935.
River Falls City Clerk Lu Ann Hecht announced the election totals were certified the morning of Monday, April 9, -- Don Richards 925 and Dan Toland 935.
During prior elections there would be a Board of Canvas on the Wednesday after an Election, but now with the changes in election laws, the local election results can end up being certified as late as the Monday after the election.
The Mayor has until 5 pm Thursday to file a petition for a recount.
If a recount is ordered it will be held at 9 am Friday April 13, 2012.
