Wildcat leading scorer Casey Jerry is the lone River Falls’ representative on the 2012 All-Big Rivers Conference boys’ hockey team,
Jerry, a junior forward, was one of six players to receive All-BRC honorable mention. He was among the BRC leaders in scoring this season with 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points. He scored a team-high three shorthanded goals and averaged 1.78 points per game.
The Wildcats finished the 2011-12 season with a record of 3-9-0 in BRC play, 7-17-1 overall.
Conference champion Eau Claire Memorial had the most players selected to All-BRC teams with six. Rice Lake and Hudson had three selections each and Menomonie and Chippewa Falls had two each while River Falls and Eau Claire North each had one.
Eau Claire Memorial junior defenseman Michael Kapla was named the 2012 BRC Player of the Year while Old Abes coach Mike Schwengler received the Coach of the Year award.
