Letter: Governor relies on outside support from unsavory groups

So Gov. Walker is not challenging voter recall signatures, however he did ask the Government Accountability Board to accept challenges from Verify the Recall. Verify the Recall is a joint project between True the Vote and Wisconsin Tea Party groups.

So Gov. Walker is not challenging voter recall signatures, however he did ask the Government Accountability Board to accept challenges from Verify the Recall. Verify the Recall is a joint project between True the Vote and Wisconsin Tea Party groups.

True the Vote is a Texas-based group with a history of intimidation and voter suppression.

Its parent group is the King Street Patriots — a hateful and extremely racist bunch that harasses and threatens those who try to get the vote out.

This is who Walker chose to verify signatures — extreme hateful and racist tea partiers.

Is this what Wisconsin wants? Don’t believe me? Do a simple search.

Google “King Street Patriots and Scott Walker.”

Or maybe try “King Street Patriots and threatening email” for some ugly truth. Here’s a sampling (the printable) of what you will find:

“You liberal scumbags should be hung by the neck in public! We are on to your voter fraud. Keep it up you...and you will soon be put down for a long dirt nap!...The WAR is coming and we are going to dispose of each and every one of you while we take OUR (White) nation back.”
