Letter: This candidate has earned my support

I am happy to announce my support for Suzanne Van Mele, candidate for St. Croix County Board Supervisor, District No. 9 in the April 3 general election. Suzanne has served as an active member on the town of Troy Park Board since 2009.

Among other projects, she volunteered her technical skills to develop the parks and recreation page on the town website, which is a terrific asset to residents and visitors to our parks in Troy.

Suzanne is knowledgeable of county services, fiscally conservative, practices a strong work ethic, and is thorough in her approach to studying issues and problem solving as a team player.

I feel confident that she will advocate for sustaining meaningful programs in our county, and fight for fair funding from state and federal sources to benefit our “backyard” here in northwestern Wisconsin.
