BioEthics speaker in RF March 11
Dr. Steven Miles, Professor of Medicine and BioEthics at the University of Minnesota, will speak at the Unitarian Universalists Society of River Falls, N8010 Highway 65, on Sunday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m. on the topic of ”Atoning for Torture.” His talk is free and open to the public.

Dr. Miles enjoys a long and distinguished career as a practitioner, an ethicist, a writer and a teacher. For over 25 years, Dr. Miles served as medical director for the American Refugee Committee. During this time he worked as chief medical officer for a 45,000 person refugee camp on the Thai-Cambodian border.
