Letter: Great giving, more to come

I would like to say thank you to everyone who came to see our Halloween display and donated food and money to the River Falls Food Pantry.

We had a great turnout and appreciate your generosity. You donated $514 cash and 479 pounds of food.

The local food shelf is a great organization with a wonderful and special group of volunteers.

They work hard to do something positive for the River Falls community. We were happy to be a part of it.

Also, Christmas is fast approaching, and we will have our annual Christmas holiday display. Again, we will be collecting for the food shelf.

It’s a great time to let the Christmas spirit help those less fortunate this holiday season.
