Help a sick or injured veteran give Christmas cheer
The annual Christmas Gift Shop, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 121 and held at Freeman Drug store, 104 S. Main St., seeks donations of new items for hospitalized Minneapolis Veterans Hospital veterans who can use them to give as gifts to their loved ones.
The annual Christmas Gift Shop, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 121 and held at Freeman Drug store, 104 S. Main St., seeks donations of new items for hospitalized Minneapolis Veterans Hospital veterans who can use them to give as gifts to their loved ones.
Gifts are wrapped and boxed for delivery in time for Christmas by auxiliary members and can include: sweatshirts for men, women and children, flannel shirts, three-piece bath towel sets, knit hat/scarf/mitten sets, socks, games, stuffed animals, toy cars and trucks, dolls, pillow cases, and more. More ideas are posted at the drug store.
Donations will be accepted at the store beginning Friday, Nov. 4, through Friday, Nov. 25. Please call 715-425-5585 with questions
