Schachtner defeats Jarchow in special election

Aerialists Rachel Butler (above) and Gemma Kirby are featured in "Frostbite Follies, an eclectic new vaudeville show featuring guitarist/fiddler/singer Pop Wagner and ragtime pianist Butch Thompson which will be performed on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Phipps Center for the Arts. Wagner and Thompson frequently appeared on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" during the formative years of the show.

"Follies" will include vintage American music by Wagner, jazz and ragtime piano selections by Thompson, aerialists Rachel Butler and Gemma Kirby, foot-juggling by Chimgee Haltarhuu, comedic chanteuse Greta Grosch, singing ventriloquist Christa Krussow, and Wagner doing rope tricks in French and spinning a 60-foot lariat atop an 8-foot stilt horse.
