Wisconsin inmate charged with threatening president
A state prisoner at Green Bay, 21-year-old Nikko, Krohn was indicted by a federal grand jury this week on charges that the threatened President Obama.
The U.S. Justice Department said he mailed a threatening letter to the president in mid-February. The White House correspondence office intercepted the note, and it never got to Obama.
Krohn is serving time for a Wood County conviction of using force and discharging bodily fluids on corrections' officers. Officials said he was scheduled to be released under extended supervision in August of 2013.
Online court records showed that Krohn has lived in Wisconsin Rapids and Boscobel.
