The 2012 River Falls Royal Ambassadors will be passing on their titles to four new Royal Ambassadors Thursday, July 11, during River Falls' annual city-wide summer celebration, River Falls Days.

The program/coronation is at 7 p.m. in the River Falls High School Doris Fuka Auditorium.

Tickets will be available at the door.

Tessa Balsiger

Tessa is the daughter of Jeanne Desilets and Kraig Balsiger. Tessa has been studying dance from the age of two, and it keeps her on her toes and ready to go. Tessa is a member of the River Falls Color Guard where she was voted "Most Inspirational." She is the captain of the RFHS dance team, and performs at the Phipps Center of the Arts. Some of the clubs Tessa is involved in are Global Awareness and Change, Future Business Leaders of America, NHS, and CATS. Tessa is actively involved with her church. Tessa's favorite food is fried chicken.

Megan Faustini

Megan is the daughter of Theresa Faustini and Chris Faustini. Megan's positive attitude and sweet disposition will keep anyone in good spirits. She was awarded the "Wildcat Spirit Award" for the 2011 volleyball season. Megan loves to spend time with her family and at church camp. She is involved with the Hunt Skate Program, a member of CATS, and the RFHS Volleyball team and participates in the River Falls Volleyball Club Junior Olympics program.

Katarina Greenwood

Katarina is the daughter of Judy and Craig Greenwood. Katarina is always on the run with the River Falls track team, earning a varsity track letter as a freshman. Katarina enjoys going to the beach and shopping with friends. She is a member of NHS, 4H and the Young Conservative club. Katarina served on the 2013 prom committee and enjoys volunteering at her church. Katarina's favorite food is chocolate ice cream.

Taylor Magill

Taylor is the daughter of Mary Jo and Tom Magill. Taylor sparkles on the ice playing hockey for the River Falls Fusion. If Taylor is not on the ice she is on the court playing tennis and has lettered in both sports. Taylor enjoys Disney movies and shopping with her mom. She is a member of CATS, Key Club, Fellow Christian Athletes and helps with the Learn to Skate program. Taylor also served on the 2013 prom committee. Taylor's favorite food is champagne chicken.

Stephanie Peterson

Stephanie is the daughter of Mary and Kevin Peterson. Stephanie's strength and passion is for music has given her top notes. She is the lead saxophonist at River Falls High School and participates in the upper jazz band. Her passion for singing and performing has given her many opportunities from costume carolers to roles in various plays. Stephanie also plays the piano and took first place in the high school talent competition with playing the piano and singing. She was chosen to represent River Falls in the St Croix Valley Honors Choir. Stephanie is a part of the company SOS for Youth, and member of NHS and the high school community club. Stephanie plays soccer and runs cross country. Stephanie's favorite food is cheesy potatoes.

Hannah Tulgren

Hannah is the daughter of Heidi and Bob Tulgren. Hannah is a talented artist. Whenever she has a chance you will find her with a brush in hand painting, or with a camera ready to shoot photos. Hannah enjoys riding horses all year round and is an active member of CATS, NHS, the I-Mentor Program, and 4H. Hannah is in both the RFHS Band and the marching band and participates in art club and ski club. Hannah's favorite food is chocolate.

Maya Wharton

Maya is the daughter of Kim and Mike Wharton. She is a girl with style and class. Her passion for fashion gives her the ability to create her own style. When Maya sees a need she will find a way to help, and is involved in the Students Offering Support (SOS). Maya is very passionate about performance and dance which is reflected when she performs with the River Falls Color Guard and has been recognized for the past three years, earning "Most Outstanding Performer" award. Maya loves to bake and try new recipes with her grandmother. Maya's favorite food is all types of pasta.
