    • Treat Yourself to Wellness 5K: First National Bank of River Falls will hold the fourth annual Treat Yourself to Wellness Run, Walk & Roll, with all proceeds benefiting local non-profit organizations, at the First National Bank of River Falls parking lot. Race day registration will be held from 6:30-7:15 a.m., with the 5k starting at 7:30 a.m. The kids' fun run will be at 8:30 a.m. and an awards ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Maps and registration information at www.fnbrf.com.
    • Car & Truck Show: From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street. Entertainment and specials at various businesses. Proceeds go to St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice Program. Call 715-425-1100 for more information.
    • High school girls’ volleyball: River Falls Invitational starts at 9 a.m. in the high school gym.
    • Fall Family Day: At White Pine Berry Farm, 1482 Oak Dr., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature a corn maze, petting zoo, pony rides, jumping castle, food, hay rides, pumpkin painting, and raspberry picking. For more information visit www.whitepineberryfarm.com.
    • Mother and son outdoor adventure: At Hoffman Park, 6-7:30 p.m. Moms and sons will enjoy a scavenger hunt, bean bag games, sack races, crafts, souvenir photos and a caramel apple bar. $18 per couple. All proceeds go to the Community Education Scholarship Fund. Rain or shine -- come prepared for the weather. 
    • Art show: Kinnickinnic Clayworks, 124 N. Riverwalk will host an art show featuring the paintings of Hudson Middle School teacher, Julie King-Hildreth, from 4-8 p.m. For more information call 715-222-4035.

    • Autumn Trek: The annual bike ride starts at Hoffman Park. Registration starts at 7 a.m. There will be four country routes from moderate to the ultimate challenge: 25 Mile Trek Classic, 45 Mile Roll'n Coaster, 65 Mile Ridge Rider Challenge, and 101 Miles Century Challenge. The event will feature well marked routes, food, sag support and more. Race day registration, cash or check only, $40, individual rider; and youth, 18 and under, $15.     • Viking game: At noon vs. the Cleveland Browns. Aired on CBS.
    • Frac sand mining movie: The Awareness Project is sponsoring a free screening of the documentary "The Price of Sand," a video about the frac sand mining boom in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The hour-long movie will be held at 1:30 p.m., in the lower level community room in the River Falls Public Library.

    • Brew Review: The third annual Brew Review will be held from 6-9 p.m., at Kilkarney Hills Golf Club. The event is sponsored by St. Croix Valley Rotaract. Anyone age 21+ is welcome to attend. Cost is $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Enjoy live music by Fifty Fifty Band, silent auctions and raffles, appetizers and desserts, and over 40 local brews from western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Proceeds will benefit the club's efforts with local high school scholarships, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Grace Place, Habitat For Humanity ShelterBox, and more.     • Author workshop: Hudson author, Natalie Buske Thomas and her daughter, Cassandra Thomas, an independent cartoonist and a biotechnology student at UW-River Falls, will co-host a writing and art workshop from 1-3 p.m., at the Hudson Public Library, 700 First Street, room 219. Natalie and Cassandra will discuss their collaborative comic strip Dramatic Mom. Natalie, the author of the Serena Wilcox Mysteries for adult readers, will discuss her writing on the series while Cassandra will demonstrate the art process.
    • Charity Golf Tournament: Benefits Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ, supporting the ministries and community outreach. Starts 1 p.m. at Badlands Golf Course in Roberts. Non-golfers encouraged to join afterwards at 6 p.m.
    • St. Joseph Fall festival euchre tournament: St. Joseph Catholic Church, 269 Dakota Street S., Prescott, will host a Euchre tournament in the gym at 5 p.m.

    • St. Joseph Fall festival: St. Joseph Catholic Church, 269 Dakota Street S., Prescott, will hold its Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a barbecued chicken dinner, country store, live and silent auction, raffles, bingo, children's games, Packer football raffle, quilts, live music, Connie's Kitchen and more.
