  • Peter Pan: Over 80 local children will perform at 7 p.m., at the Meyer Middle School, 230 N. 9th. With original script and music by Prairie Fire’s playwright and composer Daniel Nordquist, Peter Pan continues Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s tradition of presenting classic tales as you’ve never seen them done before. Tickets are $5 and are available at Dish and Spoon Café and at the door.
  • Music in the Park: At 7 p.m. in Veterans Park. Harv’s Puzzle Piece will perform.

    • Ride for Children’s Smiles: Our Neighbors’ Place, a homeless shelter in River Falls, will hold a fundraiser starting at 9 a.m. The day will include a benefit ride, food, beverages and a Christian Rock Band. Cost: $10 per person. RSVP to maryjoansutton@gmail.com Proceeds will benefit the children’s museum/zoo/theater activities while at the shelter.     • Center Family Movie Night: At the New Richmond Area Centre. Spend some time watching a family-friendly movie at the Centre for just $5 a family. The movie, “The Wizard of Oz”, starts at 7 p.m. on the big screen. There will be unlimited popcorn and inflatable bouncers (6-7 p.m.). Hotdogs and concessions will also be available for purchase. Pajamas are welcome and don’t forget to bring a pillow and a blanket to sit on. The final movie night of the summer will be held on Aug. 22 (“The Muppets”).     • Annual Brat Roast Fundraiser: At the Knights of Columbus brat stand in the RJ’s Meats parking lot in Hudson. The Friends of Perch Lake will hold their annual brat roast fundraiser from 10 a.m.-4p.m.
    • Civil War encampment: The Octagon House Museum, 1004 3rd St, Hudson, will host the 6th annual Civil War Encampment from noon to 4:30 p.m. The encampment will be held on the museum lawn and this family friendly event is free and open to the public.
