  • WBA quarterfinals: At 7:30 p.m. the Fighting Fish will take on the Prescott Pirates at First National Bank of River Falls Field. Admission is $3 per person, $5 for families and $1 for children five and over.
  • Library lower level: Sheltering Nature: A Project Art for Nature Artists Collaborative Exhibit. The world that gives us spiritual, emotional, medicinal, and physical shelter now needs to be protected from us through Aug. 16 in the River Falls Public Library lower level.

    • Mark Twain presentation: "The Gospel according to Mark... Twain" will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the UU Society of River Falls  8010  N. Highway 65. Mark Twain, as channeled by Rev.     • Family Fun Car Show: At at Bernard’s Northtown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in new Richmond. Bernard’s, partnered with Star Prairie’s OxCart Days, will host its annual Family Fun Car Show. The event goes from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The New Richmond Hockey Association will serve goodies such as pork chops on-a-stick at its concession stand, while the Fantasy Corral will have a petting zoo. If you bring a vehicle to display you will also receive a free meal ticket and a dash plaque. This is not a judge event. Registration for the event starts at 9 a.m.
    • Barn dance and threshing bee: The St. Croix Valley Collectors Associations will hold its 29th annual Barn Dance and Threshing Bee at the Village Park in Roberts.
