The Wildcat girls’ tennis and soccer teams both had rough days Tuesday, Sept. 3, as the netters dropped a 7-0 decision to undefeated Eau Claire Memorial and the booters were blanked, 5-0, by Chippewa Falls.

In Big Rivers Conference soccer action in Chippewa Falls, the Cardinals scored two first half goals and tacked on three after intermission to hand the Wildcats their second straight setback. Chippewa Falls improved to 5-0 overall, 1-0 in BRC play, while the Wildcats slipped to 4-2, 1-2 in conference play.
