Van Allen named new CBE grad programs director
The AACSB-accredited UW-River Falls College of Business and Economics has named Leanne Van Allen as the director of CBE Graduate Programs.
Van Allen is working with the college in launching the full-time Masters of Business and Administration program this fall and overseeing the continued development of the evening MBA program at the UWRF Hudson Center, located in Hudson.
Van Allen, of Hudson, joined UWRF June 10 with 20 years of executive experience in sales and management at Randstad (formerly Spherion) offices in the Midwest and East Coast.
“Ms. Van Allen brings a great deal of professional experience to the MBA leadership position. We are confident she can lead our programs to meet the needs of students and employers,” said Glenn Potts, dean of the College of Business and Economics.
“I am excited for the opportunity to work with our current and future students, as well as the local employers," said Van Allen, who received both her undergraduate degree in business administration and her MBA from UWRF. “I have experienced the benefits of the College of Business and Economics MBA program through my personal experience and the contributions that it allowed me to make to my employer.
