Rhonda J. Jensen, 35, Ellsworth, was driving a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer northbound about 9:15 a.m. Dec. 10, when it began to skid, rolling over and coming to rest on its roof at the roadside, nearly flush against the rock bluff.

In the vehicle with Jensen was a four-year-old passenger in a child-safety seat. Neither Jensen nor the young passenger sustained injury.

The accident happened in the section of Hwy. 35/65 that is north of Golf View Drive and south of Division Street.

Police closed the northbound lane of Hwy. 35/65 for about half an hour, preventing traffic from turning north at the intersection where Hwy. 35/65 intersects with Hwy. 29/Cascade Avenue.

River Falls Police, Fire and Ambulance Departments responded to the scene. Police issued no citations, and the ambulance did not transport passenger or driver.

The accident report references an icy bridge deck and says Jensen tried several times to correct the skidding before losing control and rolling over in the SUV.
