River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

A 33-year-old River Falls man was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul Tuesday afternoon after he lost control of the pickup he was driving and rolled several times along Hwy. 65, north of 920th Street, just south of River Falls' city limits.

Daniel Albright was identified as the sole occupant of a 2008 Ford pickup with was found resting on its passenger side in the east ditch when emergency personnel arrived, according to Sgt. Pete Koch of the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

A spokewoman for Regions Hospital said Wednesday that Albright was in fair condition.

River Falls police officers assisted at the scene until deputies arrived, following the crash, which occurred about 3:41 p.m. just south of Wang Excavating.

Koch said it appeared Albright was northbound on Hwy. 65 when he veered onto the right shoulder, entered the ditch, struck an embankment, went airborne over the embankment then rolled several times.

River Falls firefighters assisted EMS personnel by extricating Albright.

Traffic was reduced to one-lane for about 20 minutes as authorities cleared the scene.
