Updated: Cars collide in rural River Falls; teenager cited
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

Two vehicles crashed at the intersection of County Road JJ and County Road M in the town of Kinnickinnic at 8 a.m. this morning, Thursday, Feb. 16. Both autos were badly damaged, possibly totaled and needed to be towed. Neither driver was seriously hurt. One, however, had to be taken by River Falls Ambulance to the hospital.

That driver was Kunisha Perkins, 17, 1408 Evergreen Drive. Perkins, who was southbound on County JJ, was also given a $187.90 citation by a St. Croix County Sheriff's deputy for failing to yield the right of way.

The other driver, eastbound on County M, was Jamie Golier, 24, Comstock.

Both drivers were buckled up. They had no passengers.

River Falls ambulance and fire crews worked to clear the intersection, which was blocked at times for traffic.

The M/JJ intersection in Kinnickinnic is about four miles east of River Falls Area Hospital.
