UPDATE: Two-vehicle accident with injuries at Hwys. 29 and 63 intersection

MARTELL - A two-vehicle accident resulted in injuries Thursday morning at the intersection of Hwys 63 and 29 and 850th St. in Martell and Gilman townships.

A Cadillac SUV driven by Tiffany J. Jaeger, 32, Red Wing, was eastbound on Hwy. 29 when it failed to stop at a stop sign. It then collided with a White GMC Sierra driven by Laurie L. Evaska, 50, Hammond, who was southbound on Hwy. 63.

Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Craig Theis reports the accident occurred at 11:21 a.m. Jaeger was transported via ambulance with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Evaska and passenger Kenneth Hensel, 59, Hammond, were checked out by Ellsworth EMS and were cleared from the scene.

Theis also reported Ellsworth Fire were on scene as well.
