Basketball Championship games at Karges Center this weekend will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the UW-River Falls Athletic Office in Hagestad Hall.

The Falcons (20-7) won the WIAC Tournament Championship Sunday and earned an automatic berth in the 64-team field. They will face Edgewood College (22-6) in a first round game Friday, March 2, at 8 p.m. The other first round game at Karges Center will feature Wheaton College (21-6) against Gustavus Adolphus (20-7) at 5:30 p.m.

Friday night's winners will meet Saturday in the second round.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for students (with ID) and senior citizens. Children age two years and under will be admitted free.

Karges Center will be cleared after the first game. Anyone wanting to re-enter to watch the second game will have to purchase another ticket. Tickets will also be on sale at the door. Tickets for Saturday's game will be sold after Friday's first game concludes. They will remain on sale after Friday's second game. Tickets will also be available before Saturday's game.

The UWRF women (21-6) received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Women's National Championships and will play Coe College (20-7) in a first round game Friday on the campus of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
