A Chrysler mini-van driven by Joseph Roesler, 31, Hager City, was eastbound on CTH K, when it failed to stop at the stop sign with Hwy. 63, according to Piece County Sheriff's Department deputy Adam Olson. The mini-van then collided broadside with a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Roger Pulk, 87, Ellsworth, sending that car spinning out of control. The Impala then struck a 2005 Buick Century, driven by Caitlin Hanson, 19, Hager City, who was northbound, stopping to make a right hand turn onto 450th Ave. The accident happened at 8:18 a.m.

Olson said the mini-van and the Impala ended up coming to rest in the southeast ditch. The Buick came to rest, disabled, in the northbound lane of Hwy. 63. All three vehicles sustained moderate to severe damage. Pulk was transported to Regions Hospital, while Roesler and Hanson were uninjured. Pulk was listed in fair condition according to a Regions spokesperson Monday morning.

Besides the sheriff's department, the Ellsworth Fire Department, Ellsworth Ambulance Service, Bunce's Towing, Melstrom's Towing and River Falls Ambulance Service responded to the scene in the Town of Trimbelle.
