Two other City Council incumbents won: In District 1, it was David Cronk 242-192 over Dave Ostness. In District 2, it was Jim Nordgren 121-50 over Eunice Beauchman.

In the town of Martell, write-in Town Board chairman candidate Eric Eckhoff defeated the official candidate Joe Kroll. The vote was 121-86.

Kroll was trying to succeed Arby Linder, who chose not to run again after being Martell Town Board chairman for six years.

In the town of River Falls, Rita Kozak defeated Dianna Weber 205-89 to become town treasurer. Both were trying to succeed Caroline Hamilton who retired.

In the town of Clifton, John Rohl defeated Stuart Henning for supervisor #1, 140-98.

Many spring election races were uncontested. This included the races for River Falls school board.

Incumbent board members Dennis Behnke collected 1,442 votes and Manny Kenney got 1,326.

Both faced no opposition to win re-election. There were 63 write-in votes for those two school board seats.
