Crowds of people from River Falls area came out to River Falls High School Saturday for the Tri4Grace Memorial Triathlon. This is the second 'Tri4Grace' triathlon event. It was held to honor the memory of Grace Goblirsch who passed away last August at age 20, after battling acute myelogenous leukemia.

The first "Tri4Grace" event was held last April, to support Goblirsch in her fight against cancer. It was arranged by Goblirsch's high school swim coach Lynne Huiskamp. This year's event was put on by a committee of several local people, including John Shepherd.

Shepherd said some event sponsors included Romeii.comImprintThis.com. UWRF, Lebo Sign Works, Inc., and the Hudson YMCA.

Sue Goblirsch, Grace's mom, said she thought the event was a great way to honor her daughter's memory, and hopes it will continue to be an annual event in the future.
