Mayor Don Richards served as a tour guide at the City Hall Open House held Thursday in the new building at 222 Lewis Street. Here, 5-year-old Doyle Rundle poses with Richards for a post-tour picture.

The event included information displays, tours leaving from the riverside plaza every 30 minutes, and an official building dedication at 3 p.m.

The City held its Open House event in conjunction with the Chamber's annual daylong celebration of River Falls' agricultural heritage, Town 'N Country Day. This year the event moved from Locust Street to Heritage Park, just west of the Kinnickinnic River and across Maple Street from the new City Hall.
