More than 100 representatives from the River Falls Municipal Utility’s top customers gathered at the River Falls Golf Course Tuesday morning, Oct. 1, for a meal and a peek at the state of the economy in River Falls.

Utility Director Kevin Westhuis said the event, titled the first annual River Falls Economic Barometer Breakfast, went very well.

The event was a customer appreciation event for about 75 of RFMU’s top customers — from large companies like NCCM and Best Maid Cookie Factory to downtown businesses like Bo’s ‘N Mine and local churches.

Westhuis said he planned the event as a way to give back to RFMU’s top customers.
