Stay put: Disorderly man swipes other driver’s glasses
River Falls police were called to a fight between two so-called adults in the Greenwood Elementary School parking lot last Tuesday morning, Nov. 12.
The two were locked in a dispute about a minor collision between their two vehicles.
One of the men, age 33, approached the other driver who was still at the wheel, allegedly swung and hit his side mirror, then reached in and grabbed the glasses off the driver’s face.
Asked later by a police officer why he did that, the 33-year-old allegedly said he didn’t want the other man to drive away and figured he would stay put without his glasses.
Greenwood’s principal was also at the scene. Police gave the 33-year-old a $177 disorderly conduct citation.
