Meyer Middle School eighth grader, Jari Zoller, finished 20 out of 132 individual contestants in the 31st MATHCOUNTS state competition held on March 1 in Madison. Zoller qualified for the state competition by finishing fifth in the regional competition at Eau Claire. The non-profit MATHCOUNTS Foundation sponsors math competitions for middle school students in all 50 states and worldwide through the U.S. Department of Defense and the State Department.
