Raina Albores, a sixth grade student at Meyer Middle School, recently won the state title at the USA Gymnastics State Meet in St. Cloud, Minn. Albores posted season high scores of 9.650 on vault, 9.750 on bars, 9.625 on beam, 9.60 on floor and 38.050 all-around.

Albores competes for Perpetual Motion Gymnastics in Woodbury and trains year round. She is currently training for her upcoming Level 8 season, which will begin in January.
