Masked Fairytale Production for students in grades 1-3 will be offered from 9 to 10 a.m. Students will develop a ten-minute performance based on popular fairy tales. On the first day, the actors will each make their own masks for the characters they choose to portray in the story. Participants will learn how to perform with these masks and develop the story together.

On the final day of the class, family and friends will be invited to see the tale the actors have created together. During the process, students will learn some theater warm-ups and team-building games, which will also be demonstrated on the final day. The fee is $39, which includes all script copies, mask supplies, and other miscellaneous materials.

Improvisational Performance for students in grades 4-6 will be offered from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Students will begin by learning theater warm-ups and team-building skills. Participants will then learn and practice a variety of improvisation skills and techniques. Actors will learn how to think and act quickly when in performance mode. Students will practice both improvisational scene building and competitive improvisation.

On the final class day, students will invite family and friends to observe the skills they have developed throughout the course. Audience members will have the opportunity to observe the warm-ups, games, and improvisational skills the students have mastered during the course. The fee is $49, which includes required props and other miscellaneous materials.
