Short on donors, Red Cross holds blood drive March 20-21
With many of their usual donors out of town Red Cross representative Gerald Matteson asks those who perhaps haven't donated before to consider doing so this month.
There is an urgent need for blood due to winter storms and freezing temperatures resulting in thousands of uncollected blood and platelet donations.
River Falls Community Blood Drive will be held March 20-21 at the American Legion Hall, 701 N. Main St., River Falls.
Thursday hours are from 1-7 p.m. and Friday's 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
For appointments or more information call Matteson at 715-426-5521.
