Sharon Louise Hanvelt, 64
Sharon Louise Hanvelt, age 64, of River Falls, Wis., died Sunday, Oct. 27, at the River Falls Area Hospital.
Sharon was born in Hudson, Wis., on Sept. 13, 1949, the daughter of James and Betty Slocum. She graduated from River Falls High School in 1967. On Nov. 11, 1967, in River Falls, she was united in marriage to Loren Hanvelt. To this union a daughter Kelly, and a son James were born. Sharon worked for U.F.E. for over 35 years, retiring as a quality control inspector.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Loren of River Falls; daughter Kelly (Daryl) Fay, Prescott, Wis.; son Jim (fiance' Melissa Romanowicz) Hanvelt, River Falls; two grandchildren: Austin, and Lizzy Fay; her mother, Betty Slocum, River Falls; two sisters: Cindy (Larry) Testa, River Falls, and Connie (Dennis) McAleavy, River Falls. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her father.
Funeral services for Sharon will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls, Wis. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m.
