Shadow candidate submits signatures to force primary

An Elmwood businessman who ran as a Republican in earlier elections has collected enough signatures to run as a Democrat and force a primary in the 10th Senate District recall race.


According to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board's website, 741 valid nomination signatures were submitted on behalf of Isaac Weix, Menomonie.

Legislative candidates must turn in a minimum of 400 signatures to qualify.
