School supplies collected for SCC students
In response to the recent fire that has closed St. Croix Central Elementary School in Roberts, WESTconsin Credit Union offices are participating in a community supply drive.
According to news sources, district officials are in process of identifying alternative facilities to hold classes for the remainder of the school year. More than 600 students kindergarten through fourth grade attend St. Croix Central Elementary.
Now through Saturday, May 4, WESTconsin offices are collecting cash and school supplies from the public to help the school and families get through the end of the school year. Credit union employees will also be contributing money and supplies through a special jean's day activity on Friday, May 3.
All standard school supply items will be accepted and can be dropped off at a local WESTconsin Credit Union office during regular office hours. Visit westconsincu.org for locations and hours of operation.
