Rodgers may wear 49ers jersey after losing bet
A friendly bet means Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will end up wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey after losing a bet to friend Nathan Morris, a singer with the group Boys II Men.
At Rodgers' request, the group sang the national anthem at the Packers first regular-season game in Green Bay.
The friends bet that if the Packers won, Morris would wear a team jersey; if the 49ers won, Rodgers would wear their team jersey.
That hasn't happened yet, but Morris says he'll give Rodgers a pass for now only because the quarterback is in a hurry to get ready for the Packers' game against Chicago Sept. 13.
After that, Green Bay has 11 days until its following game, which should give Rodgers plenty of time to pay up on the bet.
