River Falls stabbing suspect walks away
A 25-year-old local man was slashed on the arm by another man with a knife around bar-closing time Sunday, July 27, on Main Street in River Falls.
The suspect, with two women, walked south in the direction of Family Fresh Market. He’s yet to be caught
The victim had a tourniquet applied to his arm. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Officers on the scene were told that the stabbing caused a possible arterial bleed with spurting blood.
The knifing apparently started as a group of friends left Coach’s Bar & Grill. Outside they met up with the suspect and the two women.
There was said to be flirting directed at the two women. The suspect then allegedly reacted by making threats, pulling out a knife and slashing at the victim.
