Urgent: Public’s help sought in River Falls to solve beating case

River Falls Days 2013 officially kicked off Thursday, July 11 with a slider eating contest, street dance, food vendors, downtown and Riverwalk merchant sales and more.


Friday’s event schedule includes:

--Bingo from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Second and Locust streets.

--Dunk tank noon to 3 p.m. on Locust Street.

--Community Dinner at River Falls United Methodist Church, located at 127 S. Second Street from 4:30-9 p.m.

--Root beer floats at the River Falls Ambulance bay, 175 E. Cedar Street, for $1 at 5 p.m.

--Legion pig roast from 5-8 p.m. at the American Legion, 701 N. Main Street.

--Laser Tag from 6-10 p.m. in the Family Fresh Market South parking lot, $6.

--River Falls Days parade at 6:30 p.m. The parade will start on Main and Moundsview streets, turn onto Division Street and finish up on Second Street.

--DJ teen dance from 9-11 p.m. on Main and Walnut streets.

--Street dance featuring Junk FM from 9-11 p.m. at Second and Locust streets. Entry fees apply.
