HAMMOND: HHA presents 'Wing'

The Hammond Arts Alliance will present "Wing" Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20 and 21, at the Foster Art Vault in the Hammond Bank. The gallery will be open from 5-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Artists include: Thea Ennen, Rose Annett, Leslie Batt-Lutz, Sharon Graham, Greta Hammelman, Rick Chrustowski, Rick Fenstermaker, Patrice Marvin and Doug Johnson.

ELLSWORTH: Immunization clinic scheduled

Pierce County Public Health's monthly Ellsworth immunization clinic will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Pierce County Office Building, 412 W. Kinne St. A consent form must be signed by the parent or guardian. If a child is sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend) signed written permission for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day must be provided. Donations are accepted at all clinic sites. Call a physician or the Public Health Department at 273-6755 with questions.

HUDSON: Auditions held

The Phipps Children's Theater will hold auditions for area students in grades 7 through 9 for a spring production of "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit and His Friends," from 4-6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 1 and 2, in the Black Box Theater of The Phipps Center for the Arts. Callbacks will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 4. Rehearsals will be held beginning March 8, with five performances given in April. For more information, call The Phipps at 386-8409.

HUDSON/HAGER CITY: Toddler screening set

United Way Success by 6, Birth to 3 and Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley program in Pierce and St. Croix counties are offering a free developmental screening to children between the ages of 12 and 33 months at the time of the screening. Motor skills, learning, social-emotional development, adaptive skills and communication areas of development will be screened. Make an appointment for one of these screenings: From 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Trinity Family Center, 614 Badlands Road, Hudson; or From 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Lindgren Early Learning Center, N3470 Hwy. 63, Hager City. HUDSON: Sierra Club gathers

The next meeting of The Sierra Club's St. Croix Valley Interstate Group will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the community room of the Hudson Municipal Building, 911 Fourth St. The program, "Harvesting the Rain," will demonstrate how to use rain barrels for collecting and storing water for garden and lawn use.
