Public radio focuses on RF going green
New low-cost financing for renewable energy improvements like solar hot water, geothermal systems and wind turbines in River Falls will be featured on "The West Side" public radio program, 88.3 WHWC/Menomonie-Eau Claire, at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 8. Host Mary Jo Wagner will chat with these River Falls guests: Renewable Energy Finance Program Director Mike Noreen, Mayor Don Richards, and UW-River Falls Facilities Director Mike Stifter.
Wagner's guests will talk about "Save Some Green." Through the program money can be used for energy-saving projects by residential customers of River Falls Municipal Utilities and repaid on property tax bills.
The April 7 print edition of the River Falls Journal also has a story about "Save Some Green."
