Police investigating death of 4-month-old left in locked SUV
Milwaukee Police are investigating the death of a four-month-old boy who was picked up by a day-care driver Thursday morning and was left in a hot SUV all day.
It was 81 degrees when somebody finally called 911 about 4 p.m.
By the time officers got to him, Seiaires McHenry Jr. was no longer breathing.
An autopsy is planned and police have been interviewing employees of the Kuddle Kare facility on Milwaukee's west side.
Police lieutenant Victor Beecher says it's still not known whether it was a tragic accident or criminal negligence.
It was just more than three years ago when Asia Jones, 2, of Milwaukee died after being left all day in a hot van outside her child care facility. Nobody was charged in that case.
