Plan now for summer blood drives
The American Red Cross is seeing fewer appointments at its blood donation enter and blood drives this summer than what is needed to ensure blood and platelets continue to be available for patients.
Eligible blood donors are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and give to help a summer blood shortage. Blood donors with types O negative, B negative and A negative are especially needed.
Bloodmobiles will be at:
July 21-22 -- New Richmond High School, 650 Richmond Way, on Monday (1-7 p.m.) and Tuesday (8 a.m.-1 p.m.)
July 24-25 -- The American Legion Hall, 701 N. Main St., on Thursday (1-7 p.m.) and Friday ( 9 a.m. -3 p.m.)
July 28 – at Hudson Hospital & Clinics, 405 Stageline Rd., 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
July 29 – at Baldwin Area Medical Center, 730 10th Ave., 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
July 30 – at Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ, 1-7 p.m.
July 31 – at River Falls Area Hospital, 1629 E. Division St., 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
