No business like show business at Westside

This year marks the 21st annual Westside Elementary School musical. Students, staff and parents will be presenting Pete's Dragon and The Aristocats.

Musical director and Westside music teacher Peggy Krasin said she "...choose these shows because they are two of my favorite Disney movies with great music that gives kids an opportunity to perform quality, fun songs."

With a cast of 250 students, 50-75 parent volunteers and 25 staff members including Superintendent Tom Westerhaus and Westside Principal Rita Humbert, this year's musical will feature soloists, small group singers, xylophone players and readers.

The Westside musical will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9 and Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the High School Auditorium. Admission is free.
