New Troy Burne Event Center shines, aims for community niche

With stunningly beautiful scenery as a backdrop, Hudson’s Troy Burne Golf Club and Event Center wanted to fill a vacant local niche for business and civic gatherings, weddings and private parties but the big, 14-year-old tent outside wasn’t cutting it anymore.

“Yeah, the tent was a big decision. It needed updating,” noted General Manager Chris Sauer, whose uncle, Gary Sauer, bought the club in 2010. “We knew we either had to put money into an upgrade or an addition.”
