Near 20-point deer gets taken down by car

Over a thousand deer were harvested in Pierce County during the opening weekend of the nine-day gun-deer season.

While a majority of those were taken down by shotgun, or a rifle, one particular deer lost the battle versus a car.

Pierce County Sheriff's Department Dispatch received a call about 3:30 p.m. Sunday about a car, driven by Amy Binkowski of River Falls, deer collision near W7270 State Highway 65 in Beldenville.
